What To Expect

For the first time, Doddz is opening the doors of his studio, and you're invited.

Nobody has ever set foot in his world, let alone the studio where he keeps the closely guarded secrets behind his inventions and artworks. That's all about to change. He's personally reserved you a seat on his train, so climb aboard and discover the magic behind his interactive experiences.

Allow about 75 minutes. You travel in a small group at a timed slot, the house is step free throughout.

01

Tickets, please.

The Station

Your adventure starts at the station. Staff in character check your ticket, the photobooth is waiting for you to create your personal keepsake, and the shelves are full of prints, shirts and totes from the world you are about to visit. Keep your ticket close.

Mind the gap.

The Train

Take a seat. The doors close and you begin your journey. Your conductor tells you where you are going and who lives there. Five minutes later the doors open again. You are not where you started…

The doors are opening.

The Arrival

A forest clearing. A waterfall. A small studio with the lights on and the door ajar. Step inside and you find the magic inside.

Shh. He is working.

The Studio

This is where Doddz lives and works, and where you spend most of your visit. Part wonderland, part secret laboratory. The Colour of Conversation changes based on the conversation around it. The Pollution Piano plays music influenced by air quality. IMAGINARIUM brings your own drawing to life. Aladdin lamps, Fabergé eggs and dozens of experiments. Touch it, scan it, play with it.

05

Lie back.

The Finale

At the back of the house you lie down on grassy knolls and look up at the stars. Music plays out above you. Everything slows, softens and settles, and you leave a little lighter than you came.

Community Giveback.

Doddz is dedicated to inspiring others to create.

Children aged 9 to 11 will be gifted free art packs through local community partners, with no forms and no questions asked. They'll receive a new pack every three months for a year, full of pens, pencils, sketchbooks and interactive activities.

In every city there are free talks for professional artists and creative freelancers, one-to-one mentoring, and meet and greets with Doddz for art and design students.

Alongside the tour there are free tickets for families who might not otherwise get the chance to visit, and paid placements for young creatives working on the exhibition itself. Doddz is dyslexic and the team is openly neurodivergent, so everything is designed neurodivergent first.
